France,
March 20th. 1918

Dear Mother,

Just a line or two hoping they find you all well at home. I had your letter and parcel the other day, which were both nice to get. I had one from Joe also. I guess he will soon be going to the Peg again, about his eyes. I hope he gets fixed up good this time. Tell him to have a good time out of it too. Well I wonder what kind of spring weather you are getting. It's been just right this last two weeks here, and they seem to be taking advantage of it too. I guess that you will see all the news in the papers, about his big offensive. It's likely to be his last one, to my notion, eh? I think it will finish him this summer. Well Mother dear, it's my busy time again, so you will excuse this short letter, won't you? So with best of love to all, your loving Son,

Frank.
