Feb 21st, 1915,

Rev. Mr. Irwin,

Norwood, Ont.

Dear Mr. Irwin:-

At Mr. William Stares request I write to inform you of illness in the General Hospital, Kingston.

I am Nurse-in-training here and see him quite often.

He has had a bad attack of pneumonia, although we don’t tell him that. He has been quite delirious and still is at times.

But we are glad to say he has taken a change for the better and do hope he will continue to improve.

You might of heard of his illness for I wrote to Norwood recently about his illness.

There is nothing more can be done for him than we are doing, we all think him a fine patient – and of course they are sure to get the favors if there are any.

Believe me to be,

Sincerely yours,

On behalf of Mr. W. Stares

Pearl Mathews
