Millville Feb. 20th 1916
Dear Friend:-
Just a few lines to let you know I rec’d you letter. I have been busy in the woods and only home a short time Sunday so don’t get many letter wrote. Don’t thing I forgot you because I did not write. I thank you for the invitation and if I could come would surely some with you.
I wanted to come and they put up such a kick at home that it seemed wrong for me to go. But my heart is with the boys in uniform. And I may be there before the war is over. How is all the boys? Suppose Kelly is feeling better now. Is his wife in Halifax? Remember me to Jack and Kelly. Am going to start for the woods soon.
I hear several of the boys have been sick. Hope you boys won’t be on the sick list. Nothing new in Millville. Seen Ollie and John go down home this afternoon.
Hoping you will soon be coming home again. I will have to close with best wishes from your friend
Warren
PS Earl Robinson is very low. Very little hopes of him getting better.
