I answer to your letter dated 28-10-18.

I regret that I am unable to trace the numbers given by you, as no record is kept by us other than the machine number, the W.D. number and the engine number.

It is thought, however, that it should be possible to track the two latter as they are usually in a more prominent position on the engine than the numbers given by you.

The type of engine described by you is quite correct.

If you can ascertain the engine number or the W.D. number this should clear the matter up.
